How it's made
Materials
We use a blend of reconstituted limestone and white cement sourced from local Australian suppliers to create all of our fountains, statues and garden decor.
This mixture produces a concrete that is heavy and durable. From our experience it's the best thing for withstanding harsh Australian conditions when compared to all other available materials (including polyresin, ceramic, and light-weight concrete GRC).
We can’t say exactly how long our pieces will last. But as a rough guide we have large, ornate pieces over 40 years old and still going strong.
Construction
All of our pieces are hand crafted on-site and made to-order at Box Hill in North-West Sydney. Concrete is poured into one of our 600 moulds (crafted in Italy). Then when fully hardened we take the hard edges off by hand in our workshop.
